Long-Term Goals (proposed)

Club Bank Account - Currently the McGregor Bands Booster Club does not have its own bank account.  Instead, the funds generated by the club are kept in combination with the regular school account for the Band budget.  The high school secretary takes care of the book-keeping for this account and the Band staff is able to draw from this on an "as-needed" basis.   It is the goal of the club to obtain a separate account under the club name. The members have decided to target this goal for ____(date)_____.  There are some different options in the way this can be established.  An ideal way would be for the club to obtain status as a "non-profit" entity.  This will entail certain legal paperwork.  The club has discussed this as a goal too (see below).  But it seems appropriate that certain incremental steps should be taken toward this goal.  So, in the mean time, the club has decided to focus on some interim goals listed below, ultimately aimed at becoming a "non-profit" entity.
